Kolkata, Oct 1 (Inditop.com) Global auto major Tata Motors sold 52,513 vehicles last months as against 49,647 units in September 2008, registering a growth of 6 percent, the company said Thursday.
“The company’s domestic sales of Tata commercial and passenger vehicles for September 2009 were 49,650, a 10 percent growth over 45,234 sold in September last year,” it said.
Cumulative sales (including exports) of the company in the first six months of the fiscal stood at 273,491 units, 3 percent higher than 265,709 sold a year ago.
