Mumbai, Nov 30 (IANS) Top Indian companies will be participating in the 14th India Realty Expo-2010, organised by the Maharashtra Chamber of Housing Industry in Dubai Dec 9-11, an official said here Tuesday.

‘Renowned construction companies would offer intelligently planned homes with value for money in Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Goa and Bangalore which would appeal to the varied tastes of NRI buyers,’ said MCHI president Sunil Mantri.

Groups that have confirmed their participation include Acme Housing, Akshay Group, Aakar Creations, Bajaj Infrastructure Development Company Ltd, DB Realty Ltd, G Corp Properties, Hiranandani Constructions and Nirmal Lifesytle.

Besides the choice of homes, the expo would offer attractive, low cost finance options from home finance institutions like HSBC Ltd, HDFC Ltd and Reliance Home Finance.

‘We offer the MCHI ‘Seal of Approval’ during our property show, so that NRIs are assured of the fact that all properties on offer are legally clear, and MCHI stands with the NRI buyer as regards any promises made by the developer. In the unlikely event of such promises not being honoured, MCHI will take up the matter on behalf of the NRI buyer,’ said Mantri.

MCHI secretary Deepak Goradia said the properties on offer would include all categories of Indian residential real estate, including the newest ‘affordable luxury homes’ in the Rs.7 million range.

MCHI’s chairman of exhibition committee Boman Irani pointed out that in the past 18 months or so, property prices had corrected to reasonable levels, making it a win-win scenario for all investors here as they could expect good returns.

‘Even those who had invested during the boom times will see a steady recovery and growth in their investments – albeit over the next few years,’ he said, adding that new and developing locations on Mumbai’s periphery like Thane and Navi Mumbai would see better returns for investors.
