Chennai, Oct 22 (Inditop.com) The city-based non-life insurer United India Insurance has logged a 17.55-percent growth in the first half this fiscal.

The Rs.4,277-crore company earned a gross premium of Rs.2,463.22 crore in the first six months as against Rs.2,092.84 crore earned in the corresponding period of 2008.

It has set a revenue target of Rs.200 crore from its 295 single-person offices, up from Rs.141 crore earned in the last fiscal.
