Agra, Sep 19 (Inditop.com) A 45-year-old man who was serving a life sentence hanged himself from a tree within the jail premises here, an official said Saturday.
Netra Pal hanged himself using his lungi at the District Jail of Agra Friday while other inmates were away for Namaz.
The jail official said Pal had been convicted of kidnapping and murder. A probe has been ordered.
