Dhaka, Jan 1 (DPA) At least 18 people were killed and 35 others were injured Friday when a bus crashed in thick fog in Bangladesh’s western district of Faridpur, police said.
Fourteen people died instantly when the crowded passenger bus drove into a roadside ditch at Diknagar, 145 km west of Dhaka, said Noor-e-Alam Siddiqui, a police officer at the Kotwali Police Station.
He said four of the injured died on their way to hospital.
