Noida, Aug 25 (Inditop.com) A contractor with the Noida administration was robbed of Rs.5.8 lakh by four armed men here Tuesday, police said.
The incident occurred Tuesday morning near the Amity crossing under Sector 39 police station of Noida.
The contractor, Mohammed Ansar, was travelling by car when another car forced him to stop near the Maha Maya flyover. Four armed men came out of the car, snatched the bag containing Rs.5.8 lakh in cash from Ansar at gunpoint and fled, police said.
Ansar immediately reported the matter to the police.
“We are verifying the facts and investigating the case,” said inspector Anil Samania.
