Kolkata, Dec 31 (Inditop.com) A convict died in the Alipore Central Correctional Home here Thursday, officials said.
The middle-aged Bablu Sheikh, serving a five-year term for trafficking in women, died following a heart attack, a correctional home official said.
According to the official, Sheikh, who hails from Kalna of Burdwan district, was a drug addict
“Last year, he was brought to Alipore from Burdwan,” the official said.
Sheikh’s family members, however, alleged foul play.
