Panchkula (Haryana), Jan 7 (Inditop.com) Additional District and Sessions judge Sanjeev Jindal Thursday reserved his decision on former Haryana police chief S.P.S. Rathore’s anticipatory bail plea on two fresh first information reports (FIRS), which were registered Dec 29.

The argument in the court went on for over two hours.

A special Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court in Chandigarh had Dec 21 held Rathore guilty of molesting 15-year-old Ruchika Gehrotra and sentenced him to a six-month prison term. Rathore was, however, immediately granted bail.

Following public outcry at the light punishment handed out to Rathore, two fresh FIRs were filed against the former Haryana top cop.
