New Delhi, April 8 (Inditop.com) A major fire broke out in the Ghazipur slum area in east Delhi Thursday, destroying nearly 100 dwellings, officials said. No casualties were reported.
“We received a call at 2:50 p.m. and 15 fire tenders were rushed to the spot,” a fire official said. It took over two hours to douse the blaze, he added.
“The cause of fire is still unknown. No one has been injured, but 100 dwellings were destroyed,” a police officer said.
