Patna, Sep 16 (Inditop.com) Four people were arrested for molesting NCC girl cadets in a train in Bihar and four Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel, who failed to ensure their safety, were suspended, police said Wednesday.
A dozen NCC girl cadets travelling in the Maurya Express on the Hajipur-Muzaffarpur section of the East Central Railway were molested by a group of young men Monday.
“The NCC girl cadets were molested by the miscreants, who fled after some girls protested,” a police officer said.
The officer said four people were arrested after comprehensive raids were carried jointly by the Government Railway Police and Vaishali district police.
The divisional security commander of RPF also suspended four personnel, including the Hajipur RPF inspector, for failing to ensure safety of the NCC girl cadets.
