Ranchi, July 2 (Inditop.com) The vigilance department in Jharkhand Thursday lodged criminal cases against former chief minister and MP Madhu Koda and three former state ministers for amassing wealth beyond their known sources of income.
“The FIRs (first information reports) have been lodged against Madhu Koda and three former ministers Bandhu Tirkey, Kamlesh Singh and Bhanu Pratap Sahi under different sections of the IPC (Indian Penal Code) and Prevention of Corruption Act,” said V.K. Pandey, deputy inspector general of police of the vigilance department.
A city court Wednesday ordered the department to lodge the police complaint against Koda and others.
