Ranchi, Jan 30 (Inditop) Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) chief ministerial nominee and former agriculture minister Nalin Soren has been accused of having amassed wealth disproportionate to his known sources of income and a complaint has been lodged against him in the state vigilance court.

Vineet Kashyap, a resident of Ranchi, lodged the complaint against Nalin Soren and Nestar Minz, agriculture director, in the vigilance court here Thursday.

Kashyap is seeking a probe into the assets of the minister and agriculture director. He has claimed that the two have amassed wealth more than their known sources of income.

Reacting to the compliant against him, Nalin Soren told IANS: “This is a move to tarnish my image to prevent me from becoming the chief minister.”

The hearing will start Feb 6.
