Lucknow, July 13 (Inditop.com) A man wanted by Maharashtra Police was arrested in Uttar Pradesh’s Sultanpur district Monday after a gunfight, an official said.
“Sajid was nabbed in the Bazar Shukla locality in Sultanpur district after a gunfight,” Additional Director General (Law and Order) Brij Lal told reporters here.
According to police, a few months ago Sajid shot dead Abdul Lateef, a businessman, at the Mumbai airport.
Several criminal cases, including those of murder and abduction, are pending against Sajid at the Kalwa and the Jogeshwari police stations in Mumbai, he added.
Sultanpur is about 150 km from Lucknow.
