Ranchi, Sep 22 (Inditop.com) A man was seriously injured when a crude bomb he was making exploded accidentally in Jharkhand’s Ramgarh district Tuesday, police said.
According to the police, the man was injured when he was making a country-made bomb at Katia village of Ramgarh district, around 55 km from Ranchi, Tuesday morning. The villagers informed police about the incident.
Police raided the house and seized six more bombs and arrested three people there.
The injured person, whose condition is said to be serious, has been referred to Rajendra Institute of Medical Science (RIMS), Ranchi.
“We are interrogating the arrested people to ascertain the purpose of the bombs. Prima facie it appears they were involved in criminal activities. Investigation will reveal the facts,” a police official in Ramgarh district told Inditop over phone.
