New Delhi, Jan 12 (Inditop.com) Being the wife of a senior Indian Police Service (IPS) officer is no safeguard from pick pockets. The wife of a senior police official had her credit card and Rs.5,500 picked neatly from her purse when she was out shopping with her husband at a prominent south Delhi mall, police said Tuesday.

Ajay Bhatnagar, inspector general with the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), had gone with his wife, Vandana, to Select City Mall in Saket area Sunday.
