New Delhi, July 9 (Inditop.com) Eight motorcycle-borne robbers stormed a petrol vend in the capital and snatched from an employee there a bag containing Rs.50,000, police said Thursday.
The robbers on four motorbikes threatened the employees at the petrol pump in Kirti Nagar Wednesday and demanded the cash bag, a police officer said.
“They snatched the bag carrying Rs.50,000 and fled from the spot,” the police officer said.
However, some customers who were filling gas at the time of the heist caught hold of one of the robbers and handed him over to police after severely beating him up, said owner of the petrol vend.
