New Delhi, Feb 3 (Inditop.com) Two school-going siblings died after being run over by a DTC school bus in the national capital Wednesday, police said.
Karal Pal Singh, 17, and his sister Ishu Narang, 13, were going to school on a motorbike around 8.30 a.m. when the incident took place in Bharat Nagar area in northwest Delhi, a police officer said.
“Karan was driving the bike while Ishu was riding pillion. Their motorbike slipped near Deep Market and they were run over by a DTC school bus coming from the opposite direction,” the officer said.
Both the children died on the spot. Bus driver Ramesh has been arrested, the officer added.
