New Delhi, April 26 (Inditop.com) A 25-year-old construction worker and her two daughters were killed when a building under construction collapsed here, a fire brigade official said Monday.
Gunjan, six-year-old Narmada and six-months-old Bharti were crushed to death when the four-storeyed building in Sector 6 of Rohini came down Sunday night.
“The incident occurred around 8.30 p.m. Seven fire tenders rushed to the spot to try save the victims. It took more than an hour to clear the debris,” the official said.
Gunjan’s husband Karia and her six-year-old son Dhani Ram were seriously injured. “They are being treated in hospital. The reason for the building collapse is not known,” the official added.
