Mumbai, Feb 1 (IANS) Amitabh Bachchan-starrer “Hum” has clocked 25 years since its release and the megastar feels it’s an “unbelievable time lapse”.
The 73-year-old cinematic icon tweeted: “25 years of ‘Hum’… quite (an) unbelievable time lapse!”
The 1991 action-crime film, directed by Mukul S. Anand, also starred Rajinikanth, Govinda, Kimi Katkar, Deepa Sahi, Shilpa Shirodkar, Danny Denzongpa, Anupam Kher and Kader Khan in key roles.
The megastar, whose last big screen outing was Bejoy Nambiar’s “Wazir”, has wrapped up shooting for his upcoming thriller “TE3N”, which was extensively shot in Kolkata.
Directed by Ribhu Dasgupta, “TE3N” also stars Vidya Balan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

Kangana Ranaut deserved an award: R. Madhavan
Actor R. Madhavan says his co-actor from the “Tanu and Manu” series actress Kangana Ranaut “deserved” awards for sure.
The talented actress has been lauded by many for her role in the 2015 film “Tanu Weds Manu Returns”, but has not received an award for the same this year.
“I think Kangana deserved an award for sure. I think her double role was spectacular. She really deserved it, but I don’t do,” Madhavan told IANS.
Madhavan, whose latest film “Saala Khadoos” released on Friday, says the only reason he goes to awards shows is because he gets a chance to meet his friends.
“Actually nobody has ever given me an award and also it’s not really important in my life. I go to these award shows for meeting my friends,” he added.

Sona Mohapatra sings for a cause
Singer Sona Mohapatra has lent her voice to a song which plays in a video aimed at creating awareness about cleft deformities, and how corrective surgeries are helping in transforming lives.
As part of Muskaan, a nationwide cleft lip initiative by Himalaya Lip Care, a video which traces the transformation of Jyothi, a cleft patient from Darbur village in Chikkaballapur, Bengaluru, has been launched.
The film brings alive the emotions and aspirations of the girl born with a cleft lip and palate as she undergoes a cleft lip surgery that gives her, her first real smile.
Composer Karan has crafted the music for the video, while Sona has lent her soulful voice to the background score.
Talking about it, she said: “This cause is extremely close to my heart thus singing the track was emotionally overwhelming. Everyone has a right to smile and I would like to encourage all of you to spread awareness on this initiative Muskaan.”
Himalaya Lip Care has also partnered with Smile Train India to enable the first smiles of 100 cleft patients this year.
