New Delhi, Sep 15 (IANS) Personal care and cosmetics manufacturer Emami Ltd Monday said it has raised its open offer price for Zandu Pharmaceutical stock to Rs.15,000 a share from Rs.7,315 a share.
In June, Emami had said it would make an open offer for acquiring 20 percent in Zandu Pharma, in line with Indian takeover rules, after it raised its stake to 27.51 percent by buying shares from certain promotors.
In a statement, Emami said as required under law, it is making suitable arrangements for issuing corrigendum to public announcement in those newspapers in which the original public announcement was made.
