New Delhi, Jan 5 (IANS) Are you a sucker for love stories? An interesting bouquet of romantic sagas such as “Doli Armaano Ki” and “Beintehaa” – has hit the small screen.
Last year, the telly was inundated with mythological and historical shows, but recently TV channels have started beaming interesting love stories.
Here’s a list of love stories that the viewers can relish:
“Beintehaa”: Revolving around Muslim families, “Beintehaa”, which went on air Dec 30 on Colors, is a passionate love story of two people – Aaliya and Zain. It is about finding your soul mate in a place that you would have never imagined. The two protagonists have a love and hate relationship, but they end up marrying each other.
“Rangrasiya”: “Rangrasiya” is an intense love story between a village girl and a paramilitary force officer. The two meet under tragic circumstances and initially, they have only hatred for each other, but as the story will progress, they will fall in love with each other. It went on air Dec 30, 2013, on Colors.
“Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya”: Jaipur based drama is the new offering from Zee TV and it talks about a young girl and her views on love and romance. Ready to hit the screen Monday, “Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya” will talk about the process and the experience of falling in love.
“Doli Armaano Ki”: A fairly new show, “Doli Armaano Ki” premiered on Dec 2, 2013, on Zee TV. Set in Jhansi, it’s not a typical love story. The story revolves around the arranged marriage of a simple girl Urmi and her dreams and expectations from her husband, an antithesis of her ‘ideal man’.
