New Delhi, April 17 (IANS) London-bred beauty Jourdan Dunn is the newest spokesmodel for make-up and cosmetics giant Maybelline New York.
She will be joining an elite group of Maybelline models which includes Christy Turlington, Emily DiDonato and a host of others.
“Jourdan’s look, style and positive energy are perfect for the Maybelline New York brand. She truly reflects Maybelline’s vision of global beauty,” Jerome Bruhat, global brand president, Maybelline New York, said in a statement.
Dunn was first discovered by a model scout while out with friends. She was signed soon after and made her runway debut during the 2007 Fall New York Fashion Week.
She says “it is an honour to be a spokesperson for an iconic brand” such as Maybelline New York.
“I am proud to say that I am a Maybelline girl and hopefully I can make people feel the same way I did when I saw the advertisements growing up. The brand imagery is always beautiful and positive. To now be a part of that is a dream come true,” she added.
Jourdan has earlier lit up the runways for Prada, Christian Dior, Chanel, Alexander McQueen, Oscar de la Renta, Miu Miu, Balenciaga, Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Louis Vuitton, Tom Ford, Marc Jacobs, Alexander Wang, Burberry, Lanvin, Hermes, Givenchy, Valentino, Jean-Paul Gaultier, and Balmain to name a few.
She has also appeared in leading fashion magazines as well as ad campaigns for high end brands.
