Mumbai, May 3 (Inditop) Filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, who directed Abhishek Bachchan for the first time in “Delhi-6”, says he is a “pedigree” actor and is far more “blessed” than his parents Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan.
“In terms of balance, Abhishek is far more blessed than both his parents. He is a thoroughbred and a pedigree. He has styles from both his mother and father but possesses the sensitivity and softness of his mother,” Mehra told IANS.
Mehra, who worked with Amitabh in “Aks”, was also all praise for Abhishek’s acting style.
“Abhishek is in his nascent stage as an actor but he has got a whole lot of experience as an actor. He delves into the character and lately he’s started doing that more often. I remember while shooting for ‘Delhi-6’, I couldn’t believe that it’s Abhishek when he completely got into the character of Roshan (the protagonist).

Govinda doesn’t leave ‘Life Partner’ set week after pack-up
Govinda had a gala time in Cape Town while shooting for his forthcoming film “Life Partner” – so much so that he didn’t leave the location even a week after his shots were completed.
“Govinda has done an excellent job in the film and considering the professional that he is, he finished his schedule on time. But we all bonded so well and got so attached and had so much fun during the shoot that he didn’t leave the location even a week after his pack-up,” Rumy Jafry, the director of the film, told IANS.
Govinda plays a divorce lawyer in the film, who doesn’t believe in the institution of marriage. The movie also stars Tusshar Kapoor, Prachi Desai, Fardeen Khan and Genelia D’Souza.

Divya Dutta is accent queen
Actress Divya Dutta, known for her performances in films like “Veer-Zaara” and “Delhi-6”, has a unique ability to deliver dialogues in multiple accents with equal ease.
While she delivered Punjabi dialogues in “Veer Zaara”, she put on a Haryanvi accent in “Delhi-6”. Divya also had a Malayalam accent in “The Last Lear” and will now be seen with a Gujarati accent in Subhash Ghai’s “Hello Darling”.
Her ability to voice different dialects with ease has won her much praise. And Ghai was very happy with Divya’s performance and said that she “brought the house down”, a source close to the film unit said.
