The man with the silken voice – Sonu Niigaam has worked with umpteen composers in Bollywood but he maintains that his favourites are Annu Malek and A.R Rahman because they explore his versatility.
“My favourite composers are Annu Malek and A.R Rahman because they have given me the most versatile catalogue of songs. Because of the songs they offered me, I got to explore so many genres from comedy to patriotic to Punjabi to item numbers,” Sonu told Inditop.
“I like people who can think broad and don’t typecast me in a certain genre. I feel more fulfilled when I work with such people.”
The 36-year-old singer has given hits like “Sandese Aate Hain”, “Grabba Mere Rabba” and “Ishq Kamina” among others with Malek, while for Rahman he has crooned songs like “Saathiya”, “Ishq Bina” and “Satrangi Re”.
