She might have made a debut with a commercial hit like “Fashion” and followed it up with potboiler “All The Best” but two-films-old Mugdha Godse says she is also ready to explore regional cinema if given an opportunity.
“I wouldn’t mind doing something like that (regional cinema) if something really nice comes up. But not many people know that I am a Marathi and they have this perception that I can’t talk in the language so they couldn’t offer me a Marathi film,” Mugdha told IANS.
“I don’t have a problem at all with the language… I’ve in fact studied in the Marathi medium so I know it very well. But the problem is no one knows that because considering my background they think I have been a model and most of the time I am caught talking in English, so I won’t be able to speak it,” added the supermodel-turned-actress.
Mugdha’s other projects include “Jail” and a horror film with Bobby Deol.
