New Delhi, April 21 (Inditop.com) Filmmaker Jagmohan Mundra has admitted that he had “creative differences” with actor-producer Annuj Saxena during the post production of their forthcoming film “Chase”.

“During the shooting of the film, there were no issues. The problem started during post-production. While I was editing it, I came to know that Annuj has also been editing the film side by side. When I called him up, he said he was just experimenting and the final call will be mine. But when I saw the edited version, I was aghast,” Mundra told Inditop.

“I, therefore, wrote a letter to Annuj, detailing my apprehensions. But the only reply I got later was the film is going by Annuj’s version.

“My film was titled ‘Chase – by Jag Mundra’, but I thought it was wrong when there has not been any creative inputs from my side so I asked them to remove my name but they decided to keep it. However, I would definitely say that the film has been entirely shot by me,” added Mundra.

But despite creative differences, he is promoting the film “because I wish well for Annuj, I want the film to work well. May be as a professional the flaws which I can see in the film, could go unnoticed by the audiences and it becomes a hit.”

When asked about the issues, Annuj told Inditop; “There will always be differences of opinion when two people meet at creative level, but at the end of the day our aim is to entertain people.”

The film is slated for release April 30. Apart from Annuj, who is playing the lead, it stars Udita Goswami, Tarina Patel, Aditya Raj Kapoor, Samir Kochar and Shweta Menon.
