New Delhi, Feb 12 (Inditop.com) Nearly 200 people held a protest here Friday against the Shiv Sena and its leaders Bal Thackeray and his son Uddhav for targeting actor Shah Rukh Khan and his latest film “My Name is Khan”.

The protesters, who termed themselves Shah Rukh’s fans, gathered near Delite cinema in Daryaganj area in central Delhi and raised slogans against the Shiv Sena. Effigies of Bal and Uddhav Thackeray were also burnt.

They said Shah Rukh has not said or done anything wrong against anyone or the country.

Shoaib Iqbal, the legislator from Matia Mahal assembly constituency, was also part of the protest.

Activists of the Shiv Sena have vandalised several theatres in Mumbai that were to screen “My Name Is Khan”.

The Sena is opposing the film’s release after Shah Rukh refused to apologise for saying that Pakistani cricketers should have been included for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket matches.
