Ranchi, Feb 12 (Inditop.com) Shah Rukh Khan starrer “My Name is Khan” may be facing protests in some parts of the country but in Jharkhand the scene was quite different Friday. Congress workers welcomed movie buffs with roses at cinema halls screening the movie.

The movie was released Friday in two cinema halls of Ranchi, where long queues of movie goers were seen.

Congress workers distributed roses to all the viewers of the first show.

“We are here to enthuse the viewers of the movie. We welcomed the viewers with roses. India is a secular country and everyone has the right to speak,” Congress worker Ajay Rai told reporters.

Shreya, a college student who had come to watch the movie, said: “It was nice to get the roses. We were standing in queue for two hours to get the tickets, but there was no problem.”
