Bollywood might have progressed in many ways but it has much catching up to do with international films as far as special effects go. The debacle of Love Story 2050 proves it. India’s first sci-fi film crashed at the box office.

Drona has even attempted a scene which is copied from the famous Hollywood movie, ‘The Mummy’ with an SFX of a sandstorm shaping into a face. Hope director Goldie Behl knows what he is doing. The Mummy is a film that has set new standards SFX-wise and almost all Indians have watched it. So if there is a comparison… we pity poor director.(Yes)

Special effects might be Bollywood’s weak point but then if they don’t attempt to work with it, they’ll never know where they stand. India is progressing in leaps and bounds as far as technology is concerned, and now films are also made with technical support from abroad. We should appreciate Goldie Behl for his efforts in bringing something new to filmdom. Success doesn’t come without risks. Who knows, he might be successful in his endeavour like Rakesh Roshan was with Krrish.(No)
