Panaji (Goa), Oct 28 (IANS) Good music, world renowned disc jockeys (DJs) and an overwhelming response from the music enthusiasts turned the third edition of Oktoberfest Goa into a success.
The three-day event started at the Nazri Grounds, Baga Oct 25 and the first day drew more than 1,000 people from different walks of life and different parts of the globe, while the crowd got bigger on the last day with more than 3,500 music buffs grooving to energetic numbers here.
For most of the attendees, it was the best time of their life. Age was no bar at the festival.
On the first two days, DJ Marco V, Clement, Sanjay Dutta, Marcel Woods and Yves V spun the disc.
The musical extravaganza reached a crescendo when four popular DJs – Ash Roy, Ajit Pai, Project 46 and Roger Sanchez – spun the disc for over five hours on the last day.
“The third day saw a huge crowd. It was good to see the response. I enjoyed myself and I could see that the audience was also enjoying it,” Himanshu Anand, festival director, told IANS.
“The weather was amazing too during the entire festival. It was real fun,” he added.
