Mumbai, June 1 (IANS) Orissa-based the Prince Dance Group, which came in prominence after winning a reality TV show last year, will perform at the opening ceremony of the upcoming Commonwealth Games (CWG) Oct 3-14 in the capital.

‘We are very happy to announce that the Prince Dance Group that won the season one of ‘India’s Got Talent’ has been selected to perform at the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games in Delhi,’ Ashwini Yardi, programming head of Colors channel, told reporters here Tuesday.

Hailing from a small town Berhampur in Orissa, the group comprises of 26 artistes, all them are below 22 years of age, lead by Krishna Mohan Reddy. With no professional dance training, majority of the members are daily wage earners.

The second season of ‘India’s Got Talent’, to be judged by Sajid Khan, Sonail Bendre and Kirron Kher, will go on air in August.
