Chennai, Sep 30 (IANS) Southern filmmaker K.V. Anand, who has directed hit films such as ‘Kana Kandaen’, ‘Ayan’ and ‘Ko’, said unlike established actors, Suriya never gets tired of second take and he is always willing to give as many takes as possible.
“As a cinematographer I’ve worked with the likes of Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai and many others. But, I always felt established actors hesitate to give an extra shot, however, with Suriya it’s different. He’s always ready to give second-take or even more if needed,” Anand told reporters here.
Suriya and Anand are working together for the second time in ‘Maattrraan’, a Tamil action-thriller film releasing worldwide Oct 12.
“KV sir knows exactly what to give to the audience. I have full confidence in him and I’m sure my fans will love my work in the film,” Suriya added.
The 37-year-old actor plays conjoined twins in the film, which has music by Harris Jeyaraj. This will be the composer’s sixth film with the actor.
