New Delhi, June 19 (IANS) With expertise from Indian fashion industry’s style gurus like Anita Dongre, Manish Malhotra and Sabyasachi Mukherjee and an insight into Pakistan bridal fashion with designer Sania Maskatiya, the Vogue Wedding Show (VWS) will be back with its third edition with more grandeur and opulence here.
The three-day luxurious wedding exhibition, curated by Vogue India in partnership with the Taj Group, will be held from August 7 at the Taj Palace here, said a statement.
The ‘by invitation only’ luxury fair brings 45 brands of the bridal world under one roof.
The invitees can consult with bridal couture designers like Anita Dongre, Anju Modi, JADE, Manish Malhotra, Monisha Jaising, Sabyasachi, Shantanu and Nikhil, Tarun Tahiliani, Varun Bahl and Vineet Bahl.
Pakistani designer Sania Maskatiya will also be showcasing at the VWS.
Priya Tanna, editor of Vogue India, says the exhibition helps turn a dream wedding into a reality.
“It is an all-access pass for brides, grooms and their families to meet the country’s leading bridal wear designers, view the most unforgettable wedding jewellery and attend masterclasses conducted by an enviable line-up of industry experts in hair, make-up, beauty, nutrition and wellness,” Tanna said in a statement.
It’s not only focused on wedding outfits, but also brings other elements required for a perfect wedding into the picture.
Guests can attend masterclasses and interact with a line-up of industry experts.
These include a workshop on styling, where Vogue India Fashion Director Anaita Shroff Adajania will share contemporary style tips and tricks for brides and grooms as well as things to buy and what to steer clear of.
Wedding planner Vandana Mohan, skincare specialist Harshna Bijlani, make-up specialist Namrata Soni and celebrity nutritionist Kinita Kadakia Patel will be some of the names who will share tips for brides-to-be.
Another highlight of the season will be the ‘Saree Pavilion’ comprising saris from different regions of the country, showcased by brands such as Ekaya, Lakshmi and Mangalmayee Jaipur.
