New Delhi, Aug 21 (IANS) Delhi Saturday reported 36 new cases of dengue, taking the total number of people infected by the mosquito-borne disease to 384 this year, an official said.

‘Thirty-six new cases of dengue have come up in Delhi but no one died today (Saturday),’ Municipal Corporation of Delhi’s (MCD) chief medical officer N.K. Yadav told IANS.

One person has died due to dengue this year in Delhi.

Dengue is transmitted to humans by the Aedes mosquito and its symptoms include fever, joint and bone pain, nausea, vomiting, headache and fatigue.
