Mohali (Punjab), Dec 13 (Inditop.com) Indian fast-bowler S. Sreesanth, who is down with swine flu, will remain in hospital here for the next two to three days, hospital authorities said Sunday.

Sreesanth was admitted to the Fortis hospital Thursday night with symptoms like sore throat, body ache and high fever. He tested positive for swine flu Friday.

“Sreesanth is admitted in an isolated ward and he is responding well to the treatment. If everything goes right then he will be discharged from here in the next two-three days,” said A.R. Banerjee, director of Fortis Hospital.

The Indian and Sri Lankan teams, however, left for Rajkot where they will play the first match of the forthcoming one-day series.

“Indian and Sri Lankan teams left for Chandigarh airport at around 1 p.m. They have boarded a flight to Rajkot,” Sushil Kapoor, spokesperson of the Punjab Cricket Association (PCA), told Inditop.
