Abu Dhabi, July 10 (Inditop.com) The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has sent a plane carrying relief supplies and a medical team to set up a mobile hospital in southern Sudan, WAM news agency reported Friday.

The team comprising 14 administrators and technicians was dispatched to South Sudan capital Juba to provide curative, surgical and preventive services to the patients in the country.

UAE is funding a mobile hospital named Emirates World Humanitarian Mobile Hospital in southern Sudan.

Adel Al Shameri, executive director of the Emirates World Humanitarian Mobile Hospital, described the hospital as “first of its kind in the world”.
