London, May 9 (Inditop.com) Singer Gary Barlow is set to organise British monarch Queen Elizabeth II’s 85th birthday bash next year in April.

The “Take That” star has been asked to lead plans for the bash after successfully arranging several concerts for charity “Children In Need” at London’s Royal Albert Hall and organising a celebrity climb up Mount Kilimanjaro for Comic Relief.

Barlow has already had a meeting with Queen’s aides. He has also been asked to organise a bash in 2012 to celebrate her 60 years on the throne, reports contactmusic.com.

“Gary’s got the power to pull in some big names and ensure it’s a party to match the occasion. The timing means he can get the ball rolling early and start ringing his contacts,” said a source.
