London, May 2 (Inditop.com) Veteran actress Bo Derek has revealed that she suffered a mini- breakdown after a terrifying flight to the US from Australia earlier this month when the pilot had to make an emergency landing due to engine failure.
Derek took a chartered twin-engine plane out of Sydney but fear set in after she heard the sound of the craft’s left propeller grinding to a halt, reports imdb.com. The pilot managed to land safely using the plane’s other working engine.
“We circled Sydney as the plane dumped as much fuel as possible to lighten the load. Everyone stayed quiet. We all just wanted to get on the ground safely… The pilot did a great job. The only thing out of the ordinary was a fleet of fire engines and emergency vehicles surrounding us as we touched down,” she said.
“I began shaking uncontrollably. I assume it was a delayed reaction to what had happened earlier. I felt so physically drained,” she added.
