London, Feb 24 (Inditop.com) Singer Cheryl Cole has called off her marriage with soccer husband Ashley Cole and has requested “privacy” during “this difficult time”.
Cheryl’s representative confirmed that the couple is separating hours after Cheryl returned home from a “head-clearing” trip to Los Angeles. She will launch divorce proceedings for an equal share of their 27 million pounds fortune, reports dailystar.co.uk.
The lawyers said Cole, who cheated on his wife with five women during their marriage, will have to pay her at least 6 million pounds but more likely 13.5 million pounds. His spokesman refused to comment on the split, but a Chelsea club insider said Cole was “tearful” and “in bits”.
