British singer CHARLOTTE CHURCH is preparing for a chart comeback – despite having no record deal.
The former classical star rose to fame as a 12 year old and later launched a pop career. She has sold almost 11 million albums worldwide.
But the Crazy Chick hitmaker parted ways with label Sony BMG in 2006, and later became mum to daughter, Ruby, and son, Dexter.
After a three-year break and a stint at TV presenting, Church is now planning a pop return – and she’s using musicians from her native Wales to help with her new record.
She says, “I don’t know when it will be out. I am recording with local artists rather than London session musicians at the moment. They put their heart and soul into it, whereas in London they just want to finish and get on to the next job.”
