London, April 22 (Inditop.com) Singer Courtney Love says she was so depressed earlier this month that she contemplated suicide.
The “Hole” singer, who recently lost the custody of her 17-year-old daughter Frances Bean, is full of self-loathing and considered jumping off the window, reports contactmusic.com.
“I think a lot of people idealise suicide. I understand it. I had an episode two weeks ago when I was tempted to jump out of a window. I’m not saying why but the reason behind it is self-loathing. You know, wouldn’t it be better if I wasn’t there?” she said.
“I’ve always been pretty self-destructive. I need protection from myself,” she added.
Love was married to rocker Kurt Cobain, who took his own life in 1994.
