London, April 1 (Inditop.com) Actor Leonardo DiCaprio may follow in the footsteps of Billy Crudup and Bob Hoskins as he is offered to play director of Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in “Hoover”.

The actor is in talks to star in a new biopic about J. Edgar Hoover, reports hollywood.com.

The FBI boss has previously been played on screen by Crudup in “Public Enemies” (2009) and Hoskins in Oliver Stone’s “Nixon” in 1995.

Now DiCaprio is considering tackling the role in “Hoover” which Clint Eastwood is slated to direct.
