London, April 28 (Inditop.com) Pop star Lady Gaga will perform on a special stage said to be worth $150,000 at the Lollapalooza music festival in Chicago this August.
The event’s founder Perry Farrell has commissioned a custom-built set costing $150,000 for the star and is convinced she is worthy every cent.
“We’re bringing in a special stage for her, investing like a hundred grand to house what she’s doing. That’s massive. Only Lady Gaga could step in and say ‘I’m a headliner’,” contactmusic.com quoted her as saying.
Lollapalooza is a three-day festival and is slated to take place from Aug 6-8 in Chicago.
Meanwhile, her representative has dismissed reports that she is on a dangerous baby food diet in a desperate attempt to stay slim.
Britain’s Heat magazine claimed the singer was only eating small portions of food intended for tots in a bid to keep her weight down.
“She’s substituting meals for jars of baby food. She thinks it’s working wonders for her, but she’s shockingly thin,” contactmuisc.com quoted a source as saying.
But Gaga’s spokesperson has laughed off the report, saying it is “not true”.
