London, Sep 3 (Inditop.com) Iranian actress Shohreh Aghdashloo and Marcia Gay Harden will team up for the independent movie “The No Game”.

The movie is about a 18-year-old Jewish woman who finds out that her mother is Palestinian. The search for the mother leads her to her aunt, played by Aghdashloo, in Brooklyn. Their closeness then causes complication with her adoptive mother, played by Harden, reports hollywoodreporter.com.

Shooting will begin in New York next month and plans are afoot for some scenes to be shot in Israel. The screenplay is written by David Abramowitz and Elizabeth Fein, while Sherry Horman will direct it.

In 2004, Aghdashloo was nominated for Oscar in the best supporting actress category for her performance in “House of Sand and Fog”, while Harden was nominated in the same category for “Mystic River”.
