London, Dec 24 (Inditop.com) Pop diva Janet Jackson is trying to make Christmas as special for her brother Michael’s children as he would have made it for them had he been alive.
The singer, who is the younger sister of the late “Thriller” star, has insisted on making Christmas a “fun” time for his daughter Paris, 12, son Prince Michael I, 11, and seven-year-old Prince Michael II, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
“It was to be a quiet, sombre holiday this year but Janet has stepped in to make it just like Michael did – fun. Michael loved Christmas. He was like a big kid and now Janet has taken that on,” a source has been quoted as saying.
“She must have spent thousands on trees, decorations and the kind of toys Michael would have loved to be fooling around with on Christmas morning,” the source added.
Christmas is especially significant for the family this year as it’s the first without Michael.
The late King of Pop died June 25 and his family was initially planning to have a low-key day.
