London, April 10 (Inditop) Pop legend Michael Jackson has reportedly deposited one million pounds to rent a 28-bedroom home here to live during his upcoming eight-month stay.

According to Britain’s Daily Mail newspaper, the luxurious 21 million-pound Foxbury Manor in south east London boasts of nearly 30 bedrooms, an underground cinema, swimming pool and a private lake and wood.

“The manor is just a private home, it’s not normally available for rent. But Michael Jackson’s aides spotted it and realised how suitable it was and approached the owner. The place is huge and really close to the O2 Arena,” contactmusic.com quoted a source as saying.

“He (Jackson) has asked for brightly coloured wallpaper. And he’s picking out artwork, statues and ornaments that he likes and bringing them in specially,” added the source.

Jackson also plans to hire an interior decorator to decorate the house according to his taste.

Jackson said he will stage his last performances at the O2 Arena in London. The first concert will be July 8 and the last one will be Feb 24 next year. It is being reported that the tickets for the show have already been sold out.
