London, Feb 1 (Inditop.com) The makers of “Sex and the City” movie have slammed reports of a forthcoming part three of the hit comedy saying they have no such plans.
“Sex and the City 2” is set to hit theatres in May this year, but the New Line Cinema executives say there won’t be the third instalment of the movie. “This is not true,” a company spokesperson said in a statement, reports dailystar.co.uk..
The movie is the big screen adaptation of the hit TV series that was shown on the small screen in 1998 and its success turned Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon into global television stars.
The series continued its span till 2004 and in 2008 the first movie on the series was released and the fashionable foursome reprised their roles for it.
