Los Angeles, May 14 (Inditop) Hollywood star Robin Williams is planning to continue his stand-up comedy tour, which he had to cut short to undergo heart surgery.

The actor prompted fears for his health when he cancelled a string of performances in March, complaining of shortness of breath. He was subsequently hospitalised in Miami, Florida, where doctors advised him to undergo surgery for an aortic valve replacement, reported femalefirst.co.uk.

Williams had the operation at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio March 13. He has fully recovered and is now eager to finish the “Weapons of Self-Destruction” tour.

“This little break has given me more energy than ever,” he said.

He plans to begin in Indiana in September and wrap it up in New Jersey in November.
