London, Oct 1 (Inditop.com) Colombian pop star Shakira is set to take a plunge into the small screen with a cameo in hit series “Ugly Betty”.
The “Hips Don’t Lie” hitmaker will play herself in an episode of the show, reports contactmusic.com.
“We’ve mentioned her several times over the course of the series and have always wanted to work with her. She’s an enormous Latina icon, as is Betty, and we thought it was a perfect fit,” Silvio Horta, the creator of the show, has been quoted as saying.
