WILL SMITH and CHARLIZE THERON have signed up to reprise their roles in a sequel to HANCOCK, according to a new report.

The pair starred in the 2008 superhero movie, which Smith also produced, and it went on to net more than $600 million (£400 million) at the worldwide box office.

Theron sparked rumours of a sequel last year (08) when she said she’d happily return to her role if the Men In Black star did too: “Riding the Will Smith train is a really nice train to ride!”

And the director has now confirmed the superstars have agreed to appear in a second Hancock film.

Peter Berg tells MTV, “Everybody’s going to come back for the sequel.”
